Improv 501: Practicing Performance

Getting comfortable with using your imagination in front of an audience is critical to improving your improv skills. This 8-week course combines coaching toward personal goals in developing a well-rounded approach to improvised comedy as well as performances to adapt to audiences and collaborate toward a complete set.

Improv 501 is only open to those individuals who have completed 4 levels of improv at Big Couch. It consists of eight two-hour classes on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 pm at Big Couch’s Bywater location – 1045 Desire Street, New Orleans, LA 70117. Throughout the course, participants will put on evening shows during the scheduled class time as well as complete a graduation ceremony on Thursday, January 18 at 7:30pm.

A registration fee of $150 will cover all eight sessions.
