Cheers: An Improvised Comedy Celebration
This improvised comedy show takes inspiration from the awesome things that have happened to anyone that comes to the show. Got a job promotion? Cheers! Landed a new gig? Cheers! Kissed someone? Cheers! Got out of bed? Cheers! We’ll take whatever anyone wants to celebrate and improvise the ever-lovin’ heck out of it. Inspired by what inspires our audience, our talented improvisers will create characters, scenes, and whole worlds in that very moment. The world needs some good news. So, bring yours, and we’ll celebrate it!
Spicy Bits: Hot Improv + Hot Sauce
Improv comedy is difficult enough. Why would anyone make it more challenging? Because watching comedians trying to perform while eating progressively spicier hot sauce is HELL-arious. Created and produced by Ellery Abel, Spicy Bits is a unique hour-long comedy show featuring improvisers performing short-form games and eating food covered in hot sauce. As the show goes on, the games get harder, and the sauces get hotter. Imagine “Who’s Line Is it Anyway?” meets “Hot Ones.”
Joie des Femmes
Joy is something we all need, and femme performers of Big Couch are spreading big time joy through imaginative improv comedy! In this hour-long show, they'll take the stage without a script and create everything from nothing. You'll discover their worlds and characters as they do, and nothing will stop the whimsy and weirdness that ensues!

Showcase: Long-form Improv
All of our improv courses culminate in a showcase performance that shows off newly acquired skills of class participants. Every month, we have at least one (and sometimes more!) showcase that shares the creativity and collaboration of newly trained and long-time improvisers. Come see them invent characters and worlds in the moment for a performance never seen before and never to be seen again.
